It is clean and does not have any signs of powder. The brass gleams and it is so well made it will not require polishing. The mirror gives a good clear reflection. The catches and hinges work perfectly. The powder well is lined with the original pristine protective paper insert. The base is signed Stratton MADE IN ENGLAND. Measures 3 inches diameter and weighs 79.2 grams.
