A super antique Djer Kiss compact duo with the original rouge and both puffs. This iconic Art Nouveau vanity is in excellent condition. The lid is decorated with the most romantic repoussage image of two fairies kissing.The area just above the thumb catch is signed "Djer Kiss". The lid opens easily to reveal the powder well. This mirror opens on a hinge to reveal another mirror for the application of rouge, which is an excellent mirror. The mirror for the rouge compartment is a magnifying mirror & the mirror for the face powder compartment is a standard mirror, this one has some age related haze. All clasps and hinges work perfectly. Such an enchanting piece of compact history! The base is decorated with radians which echo the design of the lid. In the middle a circular band and a hammered finish. This compact measures 5 cm x 5.2 cm and weighs 59 grams.
