A 1950s Stratton Musica ballerina themed powder box - Nadia Nernia is shown in fine detail on the lid. A wonderful and rare Stratton ballet themed musical powder compact. This 1950s musical powder box plays La Ronde very well indeed. The legendary ballerina Nadia Nerina features on the lid as The Black Swan (Swan Lake). This piece is in very good condition. The original features are in place - presentation box, pouch, stickers, puff and sifter. The music box, pouch, puff and sifter do not have any traces of powder. The original cardboard presentation box does have signs of use. The mirror gives an excellent clear reflection. The original mirror stickers are in place, as is the stopper sticker. All clasps and hinges work perfectly. Measures 3 1/4 " and weighs 167.9 grams.
