Antique Sterling Fruit Knife 1890
Description
An exquisitely beautiful fully hallmarked Victorian sterling silver and mother of pearl fruit knife. Assayed at Birmingham in 1890 this piece was crafted by Hilliard & Thomason. It is in excellent condition - opening & closing with ease. Both sides of the mother of pearl are engraved with delicate floral motifs. The mother of pearl is iridescent and beautiful. This antique will be shipped in a pristine velvet clad presentation box in a luxury gift box with gift tag. Measures 3 1/2 " open (just over 2" closed) and weighs 9.5 grams.Free lavishly illustrated history of this piece included.
