A mid-century dial your own Initial Compact. Crafted in the 1950s this gorgeous Stratton loose powder compact comes complete with the original box, pouch, puff, sifter and turning key. What ever your initial is just insert the key which will turn a disc to display the initial of your choice. The lid has gorgeous guilloche engraving. All clasps, hinges and the dial mechanism work exactly as they should. The mirror gives a clear and accurate reflection. The mirror frame is signed 'Stratton MADE IN ENGLAND'. The base is decorated with the fine spiral. Measures 3" and weighs 107.7 grams. Free lavishly illustrated history of this piece included.
