A wonderful pearl wedding anniversary gift for her. This 1960s Kigu mother of pearl vanity set is in very good condition. The high quality iridescent mother of pearl lid decorations are beautiful. This Kigu powder compact is suitable for all standard sizes of face powder measuring 67 mm diameter, for example Constance Carroll, Max Factor Creme Puff, Rimmel Stay Matte and Miss Beauty. The compact and lipstick do not have any traces of makeup or powder. Both mirrors have a slight haze. However, as you can see from image three they give good and accurate reflections. The golden mirror bezel is signed 'KIGU MADE IN ENGLAND'. The base of the compact is engraved with a bold spiral. The lipstick case was named the 'Flippy' by the makers, as it has a flip up mirror. The lipstick tube has an attractive engine turned design. The base of the lipstick is signed 'KIGU'.The original case is included. The interior lid is lined with satin and signed 'KIGU of London'. The compact measures 3" and weighs 86.9 grams. The lipstick holder / mirror measures 2 1/4" and weighs 27 grams.
