Description

An unused 1950s enamel vanity set. This Regent of London set is adorned with lustrous crimson enamel. The whole piece is in excellent condition. Please excuse the reflections of light on the cylindrical lipstick tube. The powder compact is suitable for all loose face powder or as a handbag mirror. The interior case contains a good mirror which gives and clear and accurate reflection. All clasps and hinges work perfectly. The base has a very appealing gilt engine turned design. The highly polished gilding metal (brass) is lacquered and so no cleaning will ever be required. The original black felt lined pouch and sifter are in place. The compact measures 7.3 cm and weighs 60.9 grams. The lipstick holder measures 5.5 cm and weighs 9.9 grams.

Even the original presentation case is clean and beautifully well made. The interior case is lined with clean white satin and signed 'REGENT OF LONDON'.
Free lavishly illustrated history of this piece included.
