A rare unused 1950s Pygmalion loose powder compact in superb condition. What an adorable novelty compact mirror! On a background of glittering emerald green tin foil sit little silk flowers under a Lucite dome. The whole piece has the most gorgeous deep golden patina and engraved decorations resembling a fancy wicker basket. All clasps and hinges work perfectly. The original puff and sifter are in place. The mirror has some slight age related marks, however, it gives a good reflection clear enough to be usable as you can see on image four. Measures 2 1/4 " and weighs 68.4 grams.
