A gorgeous mid-century mother of pearl and abalone loose powder compact. This Melissa brand compact has never been used and it comes with all the original features - presentation box, pouch and puff, all of which carry the 'Melissa' signature. The original pristine white sifter is also in place.
The high quality mother of pearl and abalone is so beautiful and iridescent. This accessory will retain its attractive appearance without the need for cleaning, as it was lacquered during the manufacturing process and so it will never tarnish. The inner case contains a good mirror which gives an excellent and accurate reflection. The inner lid and base are decorated with engine turned designs. Measures 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" and weighs 90.8 grams.
