An attractive cobalt blue enamel 1970s Stratton 'Mini-Convertible' powder compact in very good condition. We will include an immaculate velvet drawstring pouch with this order. The lid features a diamond cut gilt floral motif. All the brass has been lacquered during the manufacturing process which means this item will retain its good looks, never tarnish and will not need to be cleaned. This compact mirror comes with the original presentation box and velour edged sifter. It is suitable for all types of loose face powder as well as many types of compressed powder such as - Max Factor Creme Puff, Rimmel Stay Matte, Constance Carroll CCUK and Miss Beauty. The mirror is excellent and gives an accurate reflection. The powder well is lined with a protective waxed paper insert. The base of the powder mirror compact is decorated with shiny golden stars and signed 'Stratton MADE IN ENGLAND'. The whole item gleams. This vintage handbag mirror measures 3" and weighs 71 grams.
