Rare Industrial Brass Daisy Cog Dugdills Floor LampAn extremely rare and iconic large size John Dugdill and Company brass floor lamp stamped Dugdill to its base.
In completely untouched and uncleaned condition retaining its wonderful rich original patina, this rare example with four large sets of Daisy Cogs fully articulates with ease and retains all its original large cogs, conical washers and associated parts and the entire lamp also rotates on its primary base stem.
The lamp has been mounted on a sturdy slate base in keeping with it industrial style allowing for practical everyday use. The lamp has been been clearly much cherished over the past 100 years and is one of the best examples of Dugdills lighting.
Condition: The entire lamp is in exemplary condition throughout with no damage. The lamp retains its original switched lamp holder and has been rewired with vintage style black silk twisted flex and is in full working order, ready to install, a truly wonderful find.
Size:- Maximum fully extended height is 1.6 metres.
Date: Circa 1910.
