CHRISTOPHER DRESSER (1834-1904) FOR LINTHORPE POTTERY PERUVIAN FACE VESSEL, CIRCA 1880Rare & stylish Peruvian inspired twin spouted Face Vessel, Linthorpe, England c. 1880
The vivid coloured glazes are extremely well fired and controlled. The vessel is finely modelled with great attention to detail Reference Michael Whiteway Christopher Dresser 1834-1904 p116 & Michael Whiteway Christopher Dresser A Design Revolution p165
With Christopher Dresser marks (with Dresser's facsimile signature) and Linthorpe Pottery marks to base with Henry Tooth monogram.

In excellent original, unrestored condition. There are a couple of inconsequential very minor nicks to the rear of the left spout.
