Description

This is an unusual example of a solid sterling silver pill box from the Edwardian era.

It carries the name (and address) of the silversmith John Collard Vickery and is hallmarked for London 1909. It has a completely plain circular design with slightly roughened edges allowing one disc to turn within the other and dispense one pill at a time. It is unengraved and has a registration number on the side. It is quite stiff to open and only does so when the pill circle is the 'open' position.
