Description

Fine late 19th century Royal Vienna cabinet plate in a deep cobalt blue with a hand painted central vignette of Cupid and a semi clad Psyche asleep under a tree. Beautifully painted and surrounded by ornate tooled gilding of scrolls, leaves and baskets of fruit. Pierced detail around the edge and a pretty fluted rim with very fine gilded detailing. Blue underglaze bindenschild / "beehive" mark to the back.

It measures 24cm (9 7/16") wide and 3.8cm (1 1/2)" deep. 

In excellent condition with no damage, repair or restoration and minimal handling wear.
