Tuareg Takouba Sword with Original Leather Scabbard – West Africa, c.1920

A vintage West African Takouba sword, traditionally carried by Tuareg warriors of the Sahara. This example, dating from the mid-20th century, features a double-edged iron blade, leather-bound hilt with a domed pommel, and a red leather scabbard with decorative embossing.

The sword retains its original structure and charm, accompanied by a colourful woven sling. A visually striking ethnographic item, perfect for collectors of tribal or military antiques.
