Description

A good example of an early Victorian Scottish chest in Cuban mahogany, with secret drawer, original scrolling corbals, rare mouldings, original turned knob handles and bun feet. The drawers are all finished with cockbeading (except the secret drawer and base hat drawer) and there is a key for the top centre drawer only.

In good original solid condition, some veneer losses and repairs and slight shrinkage to the left side. Chip to back of the base of the left side. Some esutcheons missing.
