Description

Lovely tortoiseshell aide memoir with gold pique work decoration. It is lined with pink silk which has through time degraded and retains many of the original pages. Apart from a couple of very tiny chips on the back cover corners it's in very good condition. The pencil is a later replacement. The aide memoir is French and dates from around 1850. It measures almost 4" x 2 1/4". Apologies for the light reflections in the photos.
