Description

A Georgian mahogany bureau, standing on ogee feet. The fall front opening to reveal canopied pigeon holes (which pull out) together with eight drawers, all with replaced handles. The centre cupboard door has an inlaid centre motif, with a lock but no key. There are pull-out letter racks, in the form of bookends to each side of the cupboard. The base consists of two short drawers over three long graduated drawers, with replaced wood-knob handles, along with mother of pearl escutcheons.
