Description

These antique Victorian garnet drop earrings are simply divine!

Such fine craftsmanship and attention to detail, they are crafted in rich 18ct yellow gold, door knocker style drops hinged from the top with a fantastic flaming grenade style.

The main body of the earrings is designed as a knotted vine with leaves and fine texture and engraving.

The base of the earrings is home to a lovely golden bead which is articulated so adds a lovely shimmer on movement.

Each earring has two rich red rhodolite garnets one round and one oval cut with light faceting that provides a little twinkle.

There is just so much detail on this pair and they really are truly exceptional in design and craftsmanship.

No jewellery box is complete without a good pair of antique drop earrings and these are that perfect pair and fine antique earrings such as these are becoming increasingly hard to find.
