Antique Georgian 15ct gold amethyst drop earrings


Description
Stunning antique late Georgian era, 15ct gold and amethyst drop earrings.These beauties feature a large teardrop, faceted cut amethyst to the bottom of each earring in a rich bloomed yellow gold setting surrounded with gold beading.
These drops are suspended from a further gold beaded setting which houses a smaller oval cut amethyst and these are suspended from 9ct gold ear wires in a shepherds crook design.
Unmarked they test as 15ct gold, 9ct gold ear wires.

Beautiful and regal earrings ready to be worn again and would make a truly memorable gift for someone special.
Condition:
Very good used condition overall, signs of use and wear commensurate with age, one tiny claw below one amethyst has come away, does not detract.
