A set of excellent quality solid silver salts with 4 solid silver spoons in original case
Made by famous Mappin and Webb and retailed by their Queen Victoria Street London shop
The Hallmarks on the salts for Sheffield 1878/79
Good weight of silver in each salt approx 50grams, each one standing on three round feet and still some gilt lining on the inside of the salts , nicely engraved pattern around the outside
The lovely silver spoons are later in date c1920s and all match
Couple of the elastic black spoon holders have broken and stretched , which always seems to happen over time
Very nice original box , closes but the front catch not working
Total Weight of silver 221 grams , lovely Victorian Salts
