A Superb French Made Desktop 8 Day Clock c1880s, made in a brass polished finish in a 6 sided Hexagon shape glass case with each glass panel being beveled edged,
Beautiful Porcelain Dial in ivory color, with black forked hands and classic black french numerals, 60-second markers around the dial
Small sweep second-hand dial timing to 60 seconds
The front glass lifts open for winding key, the clock runs for approx 8 days and keeping good time
Clocks sit on 6 brass half round feet also with 6 raised twisted design ferals around the dial bezel
The clock movement is clean and working well, I believe the escapement platform will be a replacement at a later date
The clock is of good weight and very sturdy
Size Base of the clock is 8" wide, Dial is 4.1/2 " wide and 5" high, each glass panel 2.1/2" x 2"
Comes with Brass winding Key
