First registered 12/11/1963 to actor and club owner Roy Stewart.
Upon purchasing the car Stewart arranged for the car to be customised in order to reflect his personality and eccentricity.
The car was taken to Mulliner’s where it has a bespoke faux tiger skin headlining installed, black glass (not tints) a concealed fridge and cocktail cabinet behind the seats and was refinished in ICI purple coachwork with ermine detailing.
Stewart went on to keep the vehicle until his death some 45 years later in 2008.

One could imagine the above additions to the car were to facilitate the comfort of the many famous guests who frequented the Globe club which he owned, his guests would be collected and ushered home in this car, some of stars who were known to visit the globe included Jimi Hendrix , the Rolling Stones, Van Morrison, his best friend David Prowse (Darth Vader), Sean Connery and Bob Dylan to name a few.

Roy also owned a gymnasium around the corner where Sean Connery was a regular patron, having starred with Roy in the cult James Bond Film Live and Let Die.

The second owner of the car bought it in 2013, after a lengthy probate dispersal of Roy's belongings , and more or less kept it laid up.
We purchased the car in 2022 and it is my private vehicle . I have spent a few thousand overhauling the braking system and various other items,Max Hoffman of Kimbolton (an expert Rolls Royce mechanic) undertook this work and painstakingly rebuilt many components, the brakes are certainly the best that i have ever encountered on a Cloud III.
The car has also benefited from having a new Gearbox (£4,500.

The car drives very well and can be given any trial. New radial tyres have been fitted and a mileage reading of 26,580 is expected to rise as it’s still in use, I imagine that the car has in fact covered 126,580 which for its age is still very low mileage.
The paintwork may need some minor attention but the car looks good with no rot and a solid chassis.
May take something interesting in P/X
