Description

A handsome William IV mahogany pedestal sideboard, crafted in richly figured timber with a shaped gallery, scroll‑carved back, barley‑twist columns and carved paw feet. The frieze contains four drawers with period linings — one retaining its original compartmented interior — set above two pedestal cupboards, one fitted with a deep cellarette. All doors and drawers run smoothly, and the mahogany has developed a warm, glowing patina. A practical and elegant piece, full of the refined craftsmanship of the William IV era.
