Description

A beautifully sculpted hand-painted porcelain group by Royal Dux Bohemia, portraying a richly evocative Middle Eastern caravan scene. A robed figure rides a lavishly adorned camel, water vessel in hand, while an attendant in traditional dress tends to a basket at the animal’s side. The camel is draped with cloths and saddlebags, and the base is sculpted to suggest arid terrain. Part of Royal Dux’s renowned Orientalist series, which romanticized desert life and nomadic travel. The expressive detailing, dynamic posture, and cultural symbolism make it a standout example.
