A superb two-door bookcase from the fabulous Victorian era, crafted in rich walnut with exceptional detail. The moulded-edge top rests above a frieze adorned with delicate Wedgwood-style medallions and gilt embellishment, adding a refined neoclassical touch. The two lockable glazed doors (key supplied) are flanked by finely carved pillars and open to reveal a velvet-lined interior with two fixed shelves—ideal for showcasing treasured books or decorative objects. As with all antiques, there are minor imperfections consistent with age, which only enhance the charm and authenticity of this remarkable piece.
