This extraordinary chest captures the grandeur of the Egyptian Revival period, seamlessly incorporating exquisite Egyptian & Grecian design elements with Grecian ebony inlay designs to the solid mahogany slab front drawers . Notice the the lack of mouldings or beading to the drawers an unusual design feature for regency furniture enhancing the architectural clean lines of the chest .

Meticulously constructed from the finest Caribbean mahogany throughout without any secondary woods to be found.

The chest is a testament to the superior craftsmanship of the maker . Every detail has been carefully considered, from the mahogany drawer linings , mahogany back boards, ensuring its durability and longevity for generations to come.

The chest is adorned with flanking columns, adding a touch of architectural elegance. The stand itself boasts a further long drawer. The fluted and reeded splayed legs gracefully descend, culminating in hairy bronze paw feet reminiscent of ancient Egyptian statuary.
