Description

A superb quality mid-century leather wing chair dating from the 1960s, upholstered in rich brown leather with a deep, warm patina. The high arched back is deep buttoned in the traditional Chesterfield manner, giving the chair a luxurious, enveloping feel. The wings sweep gracefully into well-padded scroll arms, all finished with brass stud detailing.

The loose seat cushion is generously filled, providing excellent comfort and support.

The chair stands on solid walnut cabriole front legs with subtle carved detail, giving it a refined Georgian revival character. The rear legs are shaped and splayed for stability.

A handsome, comfortable and timeless armchair, perfect for a study, library, sitting room or fireside.
