SIGNED ETCHINGARTIST William Lionel Wyllie (1851-1931)
SUBJECT HMS Warspite and Warrior
at the Battle of Jutland, May 1916
Well known painter, etcher and aquatint engraver of marine, coastal and river subjects. Born in London, he studied at Heatherly’s and at the R.A. Schools. He lived in Portsmouth and died in London.
