Description

This is a super example of an F H Ayres spring stand. Nathan has been restored over original gesso, painted and spirit varnished to authentic Ayres style but has had a replacment ear.
The stand has had replacment cross pieces but is otherwise is excellent original condition. The springs have been restored complete with lining detail on the bold heads and following the contours of the springs. The tack has been finished to the highest detail and has the replica mettalic effect fringing around the saddlecloth. An excellent rocking horse.
