A large Bohemian cobalt blue and clear glass bowl

Description
A superb large Bohemian cobalt blue over clear glass overlaid fruit bowl.This bowl is of a larger size than normally seen. It has a wonderful rich vibrant blue colour which has been hand cut through to reveal the clear glass below. This fine work has been done in a grape and vine leaf pattern connected by trailing stems around the complete circumference.
The base of the bowl is clear with a fine star shaped design at its centre and the rim is highlighted with a half diamond facet cut boarder.
The bowl is in very good condition with no damage. The underside of the base shows some nice signs of age and use, as expected with a 19th century bowl.
