Description

A wax work modeled head with glass eyes and human hair. As with so many things, the French did things in style and this wax shop display mannequin head, demonstrates this. How much nicer to see a hand crafted piece like this rather some modern plastic pale imitation? He has picked up a few dueling scars over the years and has cracks to the neck, loss to both ears and a nibble from his nose. Yet he is a a survivor - what was intended as a utilitarian functional item is now, without doubt, a piece of art.
