Description

Arts & Crafts Japanese chair carved with lotus flowers and various other floral designs. This range of furniture was imported by Liberty & Co in the early 1900's as part of their exotic ranges.
It is believed that they were made by fisherman when they could not go to sea in the winter months. They were imported as flat packs and assembled in England.
This chair is one of the more unusual chairs made.
Offered in a good used condition but with some minor chips to edges
Height 100cms. Width 40cms. Depth 45cms. The seat height is 46cms
