Description

Unusual Arts & Crafts pewter mirror over mantle in the Newlyn style with motto reading "Our forms like stately barques upon the sea are mirrored in the glass".
The frame measures 68cms x 45cms and the mirror plate 41cms x 29cms.
The back and mirror plate have been replaced and there are a few minor defects to the frame like small splits at the corners where the glass meets the frame which were most probably done in the making.
