Makers mark for Charles Wilkes, Mott Street, Birmingham
Gross silver weight 45.8g
Length of forks 132mm & 162mm, spoon 137mm.
Total boxed weight 183.5 grams.
The box has a lot of surface marks on the top. The hinges are stiff. They open lid to about 85 degrees easily, then are very stiff to 90 degrees. I wouldn't attempt to push the lid back further than that. The catch holds the lid closed firmly.
The forks and spoon are in excellent condition. The engraved design is very sharp. The backs are plain.
