Heart Shaped Vesta

Birmingham 1912.

Maker: W. H. Haseler Ltd, Richmond Street, Birmingham.

Approximate dimensions: 4cm x 4cm, weight 19.2 grams.

The spring is in place but has lost some of its strength. It does close but not quite fully. A little push with the finger completes the closure.

Vacant Cartouche.

There are surface marks and several tiny dings.

The engine turned design is still sharp and clear.

The interior gilding, not often seen in a vesta, is mostly intact.
