Description

This is a beautiful pair of Indian embroideries dating from the mid 19th Century. The embroideries are very finely worked on a thin woollen fabric and feature exquisitely drawn flowers, grasses and seeds with wonderful detail.

The embroideries are presented in smart black aesthetic style frames which suit them very well. As can be seen from the back of the frames, they have remained undisturbed for some time. Overall both embroideries are in excellent condition for their many years. One of them has a tiny loss best seen in photo no. 4.

These measure 43 cms by 39 cms by 3 cms.
