Description

This is a good pair of very attractive millefiori candlesticks with beautiful bold colours to the hand painted detail. The candlesticks date from around 1890 and are in fine quality hard paste porcelain with gilded highlights. These are very much in the style and quality of Chelsea porcelain and both bear a gold anchor mark at the back of the piece. The candlesticks are in very good order with only a few minor nibbles to the odd petal here and there. These have a delightful strength of colour to the flowers and the birds and measure 21 cms high and are 12 cms across the base.
