Antique Aesthetic Period Vase

Description
This is a superb vase from the Aesthetic Period with great style and drama. The large blue and white double gourd vase dates from around 1860 and is beautifully handpainted in a style which references Japanese porcelain ceramics from the 18th and 19th centuries. The vase is a great statement piece being of a grand scale measuring 46 cms in height and 24 cms in diameter.It is in excellent order with no damage or restoration.
