Description

A fabulous vintage leather and gilt letter rack dating to c.1975, made in Italy by the iconic fashion house, Gucci.

The base is covered in leather, the top being a very dark green and black around the edges the underside retains the original leather label, gold printed "Made In Italy by Gucci".

The dividers are made from gold plated metal in the form of three different sized stirrups the perfect desk accessory for the horse lover or equestrian devotee.

What makes this piece so special is the original gift box that it comes in printed with the Gucci logo and the interior of the lid printed "Gucci Roma / Milano Firenze Montecatini Paris London New York Palm Beach Beverly Hills Chicago"

The interior retains what looks to be the original tissue paper. The box is in good condition with wear commensurate with age and usage. The letter rack looks to be unused.

6 3/4" x 6" x 5 3/4" the gift box measures 12" x 7" x 6 1/2".
