Description
A rare antique Victorian shop/business name board in wood and glass. The single piece of thick mahogany is deeply carved with the name "HOGGETT", then finished with gold leaf and gold paint. The glass front is bordered with gold leaf. The substantial sign is finished with an applied frame. It has been removed from its premises with care, and the condition is very good and redolent with its history. Circa 1870Width: 346cm
