Description

Super quality and generously proportioned William IV period mahogany carver or elbow chair, of particularly good weight of timber, having a shaped ‘bar back’ cresting rail, scroll arms, a leather covered stuff-over seat, swept sabre legs to the rear, and baluster turned legs with brass castors and white china wheels to the front. Ideal for use with a desk.

Condition and Details of Restoration:
This chair is in original and completely sound structural condition. The polish has been revived, by our own craftsmen, by hand in the traditional manner it retains its original colour and patina. There are some minor old marks, but nothing particularly noticeable. There is an old repair (completely sound) to one of the uprights.
