Handsome and fine quality pair of walnut framed tub library chairs, having a gadrooned top rail, acanthus and wheat ear carved decoration, leather covered cushion seats, and raised on William & Mary style legs united by a carved stretcher to the front and x-pattern turned stretchers.

Condition and Details of Restoration:
These chairs are in sound original structural condition. The polish has been revived, by our own craftsmen, by hand in the traditional manner. There are minor marks as might be expected. There is some minor damage to the cane work (see detail photograph), but nothing at all serious and certainly no holes or tears. The leather cushions have been re-covered.
