Condition and Details of Restoration:
This item is in sound original structural condition. The polish has been revived and the brass handles cleaned, by our own craftsmen, by hand in the traditional manner. The handles are of the period but are English, and therefore a later addition. Please note that the top two handles are different from the remaining four. There are minor old marks and scratches to the woodwork as would be expected on an item of this age, but nothing serious or unsightly in our opinion the photos are representative. The mirror plate is perfectly useable, but does show minor areas of foxing. These are mostly to be found around the edges, but there is one mark approximately 3cm long by a few millimetres wide to the centre of the plate detail photos available on request.
