A handsome, fine quality, and unusually generously proportioned distressed oak dwarf bookcase in the Jacobean taste, having a glazed door to each end flanking an arrangement of open shelves.

Condition and Details of Restoration:
This bookcase is in original condition, and is structurally completely sound. The polish has been revived by our own craftsmen, by hand in the traditional manner. It was ‘distressed’ when made, i.e. marks and scratches were deliberately added to mimic the appearance of the 17th century furniture it aspires to emulate.
