Description

An impressive, generously proportioned, and superb quality late Victorian mahogany display cabinet in the Sheraton taste. The cabinet features an over-hung cornice with ‘bonnet’ top, tulipwood banding and boxwood line inlay, two bowed glass ends flanking two astragal glazed doors opening to reveal a faux moiré lined interior with an arrangement of two shelves, raised on square tapering legs with spade feet united by an under-tier.

Condition and Details of Restoration:
This cabinet is in original untouched structural condition and completely sound. The polish has been re-finished and the faux moiré lining replaced by our own craftsmen, by hand in the traditional manner. There are some extremely minor old marks underneath the polish.
