Condition and Details of Restoration
This item is in original structural condition and is completely sound. The polish has been revived, by our own craftsmen, by hand in the traditional manner. There are some old marks, knocks, and scuffs underneath the polish, as might be expected on a desk of this age, but nothing too major. This desk/dressing table was originally designed to stand against a wall, but the rear has now been polished and shaped plinth feet added to allow the item to free-stand in a room if so desired.
