A handsome Victorian walnut centre or breakfast table, this example is notable for its generous proportions and superior quality of both timber and manufacture compared to most tables of this ilk. The tip-up top is of oval form and quarter-veneered in wonderfully tightly grained burr walnut, raised on an impressive base with carved and turned stem on four elaborately carved cabriole legs with scroll toes and original brass castors.

Condition and Details of Restoration
This table is in original and completely sound structural condition. The polish has been refinished, by our own craftsmen, by hand in the traditional manner. There are some old marks underneath the polish, but all very minor. In our opinion the photographs are representative.
