Description

Pretty and fine quality Edwardian mahogany and boxwood line inlaid sewing table, the lift up lid having attractive quarter veneered panels and opening to reveal a pin cushions, a sewing box and fitted compartment. To the exterior, the front features two dummy drawers with brass knob handles, and is raised on square tapering legs.

Condition and Details of Restoration
This table is in untouched original structural condition and is completely sound. The original polish has been revived, by our own craftsmen, by hand in the traditional manner. There are a few old marks and scuffs to the polish as might be expected on an item of this age, but certainly nothing major or eye-catching. The lining has been in place for some time, though is not original.
