A quite delightful and super quality Edwardian Chippendale style mahogany torchère or plant stand, having a dished top above a tapering turned stem with acanthus carving, and raised on an elegant cabriole leg tripod base with acanthus carving and ball-and-claw feet.Diameter (top, overall) 12” (30cm) Height 42” (107cm)
Condition & Details of Restoration
This item is in excellent original structural condition. The polish has been revived, by our own craftsmen, by hand, in the traditional manner. There are some old marks underneath the polish, but all extremely minor.
